WELCOME TO THE EFESE WEBSITE
European Format for Exchange of Social Security Education

Welcome to the website of the EFESE project (European Format for Exchange of Social Security Education). The EFESE project responds to the need for the development of a truly comprehensive curriculum on social security. The central idea of the project is to develop virtual on line courses and to exchange them between different universities, academics and students. In the end the project aspires to build a common (‘joint’) master programme in the field of social security.
“We believe that the only way to develop a widely accessible, comprehensive and European curriculum on social security is to work with the virtual exchange of courses and information between different European universities and organisations,” says Paul Schoukens, professor at the KU Leuven and project leader.

The project is implemented by KU Leuven, the University of Ljubljana and the Centre for European Constitutional Law in Athens and is funded by the Erasmus+ programme.
