The second Training Event of the EFESE project will be held in Groningen from 10 -14 of October 2016.
The EFESE project kindly invites you to the second international seminar and training program on the exchange of social security education.
“The Importance of Social Security (Education) in Europe:
Challenges, Innovation and Best Practices”, Monday 10 October 2016
The first topic of the international seminar concerns the role and future of social security in Europe. The keynote speaker is Georgios Katrougalos, Minister of Labour, Social Insurance and Social Security in Greece. Further inspiring contributions from European academics will follow, who will address the the challenges faced by social security education in a changing Europe, with a special attention to the implications of IT innovation.

The training program will provide attendees with the possibility to further develop the courses, which were designed during the training week in Leuven. In the first place, all courses will be reviewed by an external peer reviewer. Furthermore, the recording of one (additional) lesson video will be facilitated for each course.
During the second part of the training week, the focus will be on the progress made by the EFESE project and the feasibility of a common European master in social security.
The training week will take place in Groningen and on the beautiful island Schiermonnikoog.
Free of charge for EFESE partners and EFESE satellite partners (and their respective PhD students).
