IO6. Dissemination of project activities and networking

IO6.01. Communication Strategy and Dissemination Plan

The communication strategy and dissemination plan specifies the activities to take place in the course of the project and the corresponding timetable. The strategy identifies the project communication objectives, the material that needs to be communicated and disseminated, the target groups, and the means through which they will be reached. The overall objective of the communication and dissemination strategy is to spread the word about the project achievement and outcomes and to maximize the potential of the results to be used beyond the lifetime of the project.

IO6.02. Website

The purpose of the website is to serve as the main information gate of the project. Through the website, general and specialized information are stored, updated, and made permanently accessible to any interested party. In addition, the website provides information on all project activities, upcoming events, and project results.

IO6.03 Dissemination events

Four multiplier events and four intensive training events (two for teaching staff and two for learners), were organized to disseminate the project objectives and outputs and to strength and extend the project network. The multiplier events attracted a large audience that ranged from professionals in education and social security education to civil/public servants and independent lawyers. The training events brought together professors, teaching/research staff, and students in social security and other related fields (e.g., medicine, psychology, economics, etc.) from diverse European institutions. The feedback from the participants was very positive and can be found, as a link, in the report. The report provides also links to videos, pictures, presentations, and a detailed description of each event.

IO6.04. Project Newsletters

The EFESE online newsletter has disseminated information on the project at regular intervals (every three months). There were in total 9 issues delivered to the subscribers via personalized e-mail. The newsletter is also permanently accessible via the EFESE website ( Each issue of the newsletter includes information on the project progress, activities, deliverables and milestones, upcoming events, and social security related events in the partner and satellite partner countries (e.g., conferences and meetings, book publications, and other information). The number of subscribers has increased importantly from 13 in the first issue (June 2015) to 149 subscribers in the last issue (October 2017).

IO6.05. a) Social media, internet, and networks: EFESE in the social media

For the dissemination of the project a Facebook page was created. All the upcoming events as well as the events that have been implemented are published in the Facebook page. A twitter account was also created at the beginning of the project but it did not work. More successful was the EFESE LinkedIn Group, which had several members, mostly EFESE trainees. Updates were posted regularly. EFESE also has a channel in YouTube to share the recordings of some speeches at the multiplier events, for example.
